Our Approach
George Kiourtzidis is the grand nephew of renowned 20th century spiritual teacher G.I.Gurdjieff.
Born near Thessaloniki, in northern Greece, he cut short his education to emigrate to London in 1965, where he went on to run a variety of small businesses including casinos, clothing shops, music stores and restaurants.
Due to the pressures of running a business and raising a family, and with his health in serious decline, he was compelled to find a method to cope with his life's circumstances. This led him to discover by chance the work of G.I. Gurdjieff, which inspired him to seek his own method and path to inner development.
His website and book The Way to Self-Development aim to provide a practical Method for awakening conscience in us, which leads to a life that is more vivid, fulfilled, and above all, real.
